ITALIAN HISTORIC HOUSES AND EUROPEAN TRAVEL AGENCY FORUM SENIGALLIA 12 - 14 NOVEMBER 2023 Senigallia, 9 November 2023 – The Italian Historic Houses Association – Marche Region will participate in the European Travel Agency Forum (ETAF) - which this year is in its fourth edition and it will take place in Senigallia from the 12th to the 14th of November. This important event is aimed above all at the North American B2B Leisure and Mice market. With its participation, ADSI Marche aims to carry forward its mission of promoting the cultural heritage and unique hospitality of the historic homes of the Marche region and of Italy as a whole. The various ETAF events will be held at the Hotel Finis Africae, at the Foro Annonario, at the Rotonda sul Mare, at the Tre Castelli Resort and at the Cantina Langelina. The event is a point of reference for operators in the tourism sector, travel agencies, hoteliers, and European hospitality professionals. The Italian Historic Houses Association in Le Marche will be present with integrated packages of cultural, food and wine, environmental and artistic experiences in the Marche Region. Foreign agencies will thus be able to discover the beauty of the historic homes of the Marche and learn how these Historic Homes can become unique holiday destinations. The Historic Houses open to the public in the Marche Region offer a variety of services, including overnight stays, guided tours of house museums and historic gardens, organization of events, locations for films, experiences linked to local territories such as cooking courses, harvesting of the grape harvest, tasting of typical products etc. The Historic Houses represent an architectural, landscape and historical unicum due to their particularities in all the Provinces of the Marche. In the Pesaro area, land of the famous Rossini, we find nineteenth-century villas such as Villa Fontalba in Cagli. A few kilometers from Senigallia we find Palazzo Castracane Augusti, a house museum with memorabilia of illustrious people. The exploration continues in the Macerata area where we find the Castle of Rocca d'Ajello, an ancient fortress built between 1260 and 1450. The journey continues towards the city of Fermo and its surroundings where Villa il Castellano in Sant'Elpidio with its agricultural estate overlooking the Adriatic Sea. In the historic center there is the imposing Palazzo Romani Adami and the splendid Palazzo Vinci Gigliucci. To the south of the Region, which borders the Abruzzo Region, there are four very different architectural examples, which highlight the history of the area: Castel di Luco in Acquasanta Terme, a beautiful medieval castle inserted between the Sibillini Mountains, Villa Cicchi near the splendid medieval city of Ascoli Piceno, where you can taste the typical products of the area, the Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi in Castel di Lama, along the Tronto valley, interesting from an architectural and botanical point of view with its romantic garden. Not far away, in Colli del Tronto, the delightful neo-Palladian Villa Mastrangelo with elegantly frescoed interiors. All these experiences of territorial valorization in the Marche Region are connected in elaborate tourist packages created ad hoc for the North American market by DMC Promo Tuscia, a project partner with thirty years of experience throughout the national territory.
